Pricing/Quotes

All prices are advertised on our website and only get an increase year on year. All prices are exact and are subject to yearly increases.

Confirmation

Once the client confirms an order, this becomes a contractual agreement and this is the point where our Terms and Conditions come into full effect. All Terms and Conditions must be read and understood by the client as this is the basis of the contractual agreement with The Ribble Valley Group Ltd and Country Kitchen Shop upon confirmation of an order.

Payment

Upon confirmation of order, the following process will commence – First payment in full – a full invoice is raised and due before the order is processed. Once the payment is sent and received, the items will be processed for delivery collection. The order is then confirmed with The Ribble Valley Group Ltd and Country Kitchen shop. The Invoice raised/receipt will have clients details and address on.

Delivery

All deliveries are fulfilled by APC Ltd next working day delivery service, if an order is placed Monday to Thursday 00:01 – 11:59 these will be delivered by next day courier, if orders are placed Between Thursday 12pm – Monday 00:01, orders will be processed on Mondays for delivery on Tuesdays. We charge a set fee for delivery and this is stated on the invoice/receipt provided in the Basket.

Cancellation

Any cancellation should be advised in writing to The Ribble Valley Group Ltd/ Country Kitchen Shop as soon as possible. All payments are full or partially refundable and this payment will be retained by The Ribble Valley Group Ltd/ Country Kitchen Shop. Charges will also be made as per the following- If Cancelled within 4 hours of order 100% refunded, if cancelled 4-12 hours after ordered 25% non refundable and if cancelled 12+ hours after order placed 100% non-refunded. We cannot accept any foods sent back to us, we cannot refund items send out and damaged in transit, if the item is deemed damaged before we sent this out we will refund that individual item, this would be pending a review by our management.

Range and Availability

All goods and ingredients are offered subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable or it is of insufficient quality for meal production, The Ribble Valley Group Ltd / Country Kitchen shop reserves the right to make a substitution. Wherever possible the customer will be notified of any changes in advance. All dietary requirements will be stated on meal containers with full allergen information too.

Data Protection

The Ribble Valley group Ltd / Country Kitchen Shop strictly adheres to all current GDPR regulations and all data collated from each customer or enquiry will be stored in the correct manner and not disclosed or sold to any other party.

Force Majeure

The Ribble Valley Group Ltd / Country Kitchen Shop will accept no liability for the failure to perform any obligations due to strike, lockout, hostilities or any other circumstances beyond our control. No liability is accepted for loss, damage or consequential loss caused by any failure to perform our obligations (whether due to negligence by us, our employees or sub-contractors, or other due causes), but this does not exclude liability for death or personal injury as required by law.

Liability

The client is responsible for all loses, damages and expenses at any venue we are required to cater at, arising from the behaviour or actions of either themselves or their guests, along with any contractors bought onto site etc. The Ribble Valley Group Ltd / Country Kitchen Shop will not be responsible for, and the client will indemnify the company, against all claims for injury to persons or loss of, or damage to the property and any of the garden areas howsoever caused, unless it is proven that such injury or damage be caused by faulty material or workmanship, or negligence by the company. Should damage occur to client property caused by a member of the Ribble Valley Group Ltd team, this should be reported immediately and followed up in writing, for our management team to discuss and review, potentially undertaking a full investigation.

WAIVER

No waiver by the Supplier (whether express or implied) in enforcing any of its rights under this contract shall prejudice its rights to do so in the future.

Intellectual Property Rights

All patents, utility models, rights to inventions, copyright and neighbouring and related rights, moral rights, trademarks and service marks, business names and domain names, rights in get-up and trade dress, goodwill and the right to sue for passing off or unfair competition, rights in designs, rights in computer software, database rights, rights to use, and protect the confidentiality of, confidential information (including know-how and trade secrets) and all other intellectual property rights, in each case whether registered or unregistered and including all applications and rights to apply for and be granted, renewals or extensions of, and rights to claim priority from, such rights and all similar or equivalent rights or forms of protection which subsist or will subsist now or in the future in any part of the world. Complaints In the unlikely event of a complaint, the client should raise this in writing to The Ribble Valley Group Ltd / Country Kitchen Shop with a full explanation of the issue, within 7 days of the order. This will be acknowledged within 24 hours and an estimated timescale for any investigation will be provided at this point. The Ribble Valley Group Ltd / Country Kitchen Shop reserve the right to amend and update these Terms and Conditions periodically.

PRIVACY STATEMENT

SECTION 1 – WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. We never store your payment information. When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates. Date of Birth is only collected with your consent for marketing material which will be used to send over discount or promotional offers on your birthday. This data is not shared with any other party and you can delete your account at any time. Alternatively you can contact info@countrykitchenshop.co.uk to withdraw your consent.

SECTION 2 – CONSENT

How do you get my consent? When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no. How do I withdraw my consent? SECTION 3 – DISCLOSURE

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 4 – PAYMENT

Payment: We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties. If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Stripe stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

SECTION 5 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. Links When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements. Google analytics: Our store uses Google Analytics to help us learn about who visits our site and what pages are being looked at

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it. If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
